PORTRAIT OF A LADY c.1850s, hand coloured half plate daguerreotype, 3/4 portrait of a lady sat at a table holding a book with an unidentified object covered in lace on the table, in european gilt bevel mount with rounded corners, black lacquer frame with remnants of photographers label verso, plate has been cleaned and resealed, however there is historical damage present from fungal growth visible
