A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver teapot, Kashmir circa 1890
Raj period. Of lobed compressed circular form modelled as a lotus, with a curved spout opposite a C scroll handle fitted with ivory insulators. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a pyriform finial. The lobes of the body with chased decoration in alternating poppy and rosette pattern.
