Oban tate-e, the courtesan Sugatano from Sugata-ebiya, dressed in her lavish kimono and obi decorated with a dragon and waves, from the series Shokoku Fuji zukushi, (Mt Fuji in various provinces), a picture of Nambu-fuji in a circular cartouche above, signed Keisai Eisen ga, the publisher’s seal Tsutaya.
