The distinctive five span Pont Marie across the River Seine in Paris links the charm of the Île Saint-Louis on the left with the hustle and bustle of the quai de l'Hôtel de Ville on the right. Painted looking up stream, Lépine captures the distinctive roof line of the Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu in the far distance.
