A mid-20th century Thai unmarked silver bowl, Chiang Mai circa 1950
Of compressed circular form upon three hemispherical feet, the body with embossed decoration of figures from the Ramakien, such as Pha Ram in combat with the Demon Tataka and of Pha Ram shooting Maricha in the form of a golden deer, each interspersed with trees. The upper section with a convex band of chased foliate scrolls. The underside chased with an apsonsi above Thai script.
