Two modern silver plated teapots after Christopher Dresser, with ebonised wood handles.
The design for the square teapot appears in the costing book of James Dixon & Sons for 1879 as design no. 2274 in English Japanese style.
The circular teapot was designed circa 1879. An example was sold at Christie's New York for $399,000 in 2019.
