An Elizabeth II 9 carat gold and enamel pill box, London 1954 by Cartier
Of circular form with a pull off lid with opposable ring handle, flanked either side by an opaque enamel decorated ladybird, engine turned decoration to the lid and the sides. Fully marked to the base interior, part-marked to the ring attachment. Engraved on the base rim 'Cartier London ' and '3991'.
Diameter – 3.2 cm / 1.25 inches
Weight – 24 grams / 0.77 ozt
