An Edwardian sterling silver teapot, London 1901 by Sibray, Hall & Co Ltd
Of globular form upon a circular splayed foot, the curved spout with embossed acanthus leaves opposite a wooden C scroll handle pinned to tubular sockets. The hinged domed lid surmounted by a detachable wood and silver pineapple finials atop of an embossed acanthus leaf calyx, within a scalloped gadrooned neck. The body with embossed acanthus leaves below ribbon tied swags and a punch work border. The side engraved with a crest of a boar’s head erased. Fully and part-marked.
