A ruby and diamond bombé ring, circa 1950
Centrally collet-set with an oval-cut ruby, to a brilliant-cut diamond mount detailed with a calibré-cut ruby saltire, diamonds approx. 1.10 carats total, ring size D½
Accompanied by a report from GCS stating that the principal ruby, weighing approx. 2.3 carats, is of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Report number 80272-61, dated 19th August 2020.
