This September, our Old Masters and 19th Century Art sale presents a distinguished selection of paintings and works on paper spanning the 16th to 19th centuries, complemented by a curated offering of fine frames.

Among the highlights are two works by W.S. Hedges (British, active 1830), a preparatory study by François Lemoyne (French, 1688–1737), a dynamic maritime scene by Pieter Cornelisz. van Soest (Dutch, b. c.1600–1620, fl. c.1640–1667), and a captivating group of figurative studies by Alfred Crowdy Lovett (British, 1862–1919), among many others.
