Chiswick Auctions is looking for Mandarin-speaking preview staff and telephone bidding staff to assist with their three Asian Art sales.

Location: Chiswick Auctions, Chiswick. W4 4PH, nearest tube Turnham Green.

Dates: All or some of the following:

Sat 13 May 10am - 4.30pm
Sun 14 May 10am - 4.30pm
Mon 15 May 10am - 4.30pm
Tues 16 May 10am - 4.30pm
Weds 17 May 10am - 4.30pm
Thurs 18 May 10am - 4.30pm
Fri 19 May - TWO SALES - telephone bidding 8am onwards
Sat 20 May 10am - 4.30pm
Sun 21 May 10am - 4.30pm
Mon 22 May - ONE SALE - telephone bidding 9am onwards

Sales:

Friday 19th May - Fine Chinese and Korean Paintings and Sculpture Classical to Contemporary

Friday 19th May - Asian Art I

Monday 22nd May - Asian Art II

Payment: £11.95 per hour preview and £150 per day telephone bidding

Responsibilities:
As preview staff: to assist clients with viewing the lots from the three sales. Full training will be provided.
As telephone bidding staff: to speak to clients in Mandarin as part of the bidding process. Again, full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be a Mandarin speaker who is interested in Asian Art - antique and contemporary including ceramics, bronzes and paintings. First class client-facing skills. Professional appearance. Good English.
