AN UNUSUAL ANTIQUE BAKHTIARI RUG, WEST PERSIA, appprox; 218cm. x 145cm. Very nicely drawn design, unusual for this type more associated with Isfahan group.Good colour combination. Apart of very light touches of wear to the top pile in few small placed, this rug has good pile. Selvages rebound with touches of fraying in few tiny places on wool cord. Ends with short fringes, also touches of fraying on fringes. In general this rug is in very good usable condition. Very attractive and nice furnishig piece.
