A Victorian Scottish unmarked gold and agate hardstone vinaigrette, circa 1870

Of barrel form, set with with twelve vertical sections of hardstones to include jasper, banded agate and bloodstone, with shaped and pierced mount. The hinged cover with a domed crystal, the interior with a hinged grill with pierced and engraved foliate scrolls and a rosette.
