Yasuko’s career in Japanese Art spans over thirty years having initially worked for a specialist dealer before joining Sotheby’s New Bond Street in 1990 as their specialist in Japanese prints and paintings. During her nine years at Sotheby’s, Yasuko was responsible for handling important European collections including the Walter Amstutz and Henri Vever collections of Japanese prints.

With a particular interest in Japanese textiles, Yasuko has studied extensively in the field of visual arts both in Japan and the UK, including graphic design, fine art and photography.
