Albert brings extensive curatorial and academic experience to his role as Head of Old Master Paintings & Works on Paper at Chiswick. Previously, he worked at the National Gallery, London, where he contributed to several exhibitions on Dutch and Flemish art, and at the Courtauld Institute where he continues to teach as Associate Lecturer. Albert has also worked with several private collectors of Old Masters, building and managing their collections, and has collaborated extensively with UBS Wealth Management on broadening client engagement with historical art.
He is a specialist in 16th-18th century Northern European art and holds a PhD from the Courtauld with a thesis on ‘Haarlem Mannerism’. His research has appeared in The Burlington Magazine and Art History among other publications, and he continues to lecture widely.
