Carmen joined us from Sokol Books London where she worked as a cataloguer with a particular interest in Early Modern Manuscripts and Continental Books. Carmen holds a PhD in Italian Studies from the University of Padua and between 2009 and 2014 held research positions at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice and at the School of Advanced Study in London. Carmen’s research to date has focused on the relationship between literature and the visual arts and her work has been extensively published in both English and Italian.
