Precision timing and accuracy

On Tuesday January 20th we will be holding a
General sale, starting at 12 noon.

We have a fascinating sale building up for next week. And one vendor has consigned two very different but equally precise collections.
Firstly there is a collection of clocks, ranging from wall-mounted to desktop, through ormolu and enamelled, and including examples of the very earliest precision electric regulators.
And the second selection is of medical instruments, including scalpels and scissors, another area where precision is vital!

There are still plenty of lots being consigned and catalogued.
Check our website for the full catalogue

This week, we had a record breaking sale of Jewellery and Watches. The Patek Philippe gentleman’s watch that we featured in the newsletter last week achieved a hammer price of £23,000 - our new record for a watch sale - and the total sale was also a new Jewellery and Watches record.
Sadly we don't know whether any of the beautiful rings were bought to be used for proposals on Valentine's Day. But if we find out we'll let you know!

Coming up, the Vintage and Designer Fashion sale on Tuesday January 27th is going to be one of our biggest and Books, Manuscripts and Maps the next day on Wednesday January 28th will be of special interest to railway enthusiasts - more information to come.
We're also consigning items for Stamps, Coins and Banknotes on February 3rd and Asian Art on February 10th, and our weekly General sales.
