Next week, on Tuesday 30th June at 11am we are holding a sale of
Medals and Militaria, followed by the General sale.
We have a very large selection of items in our Medals and Militaria sale on Tuesday 30th June - over 420 lots. As a result we will be starting the sale at 11am. The first 100+ lots are Military Badges, Titles and Insignia followed by a wide range of fascinating items from across the services and across the globe.
And in this Waterloo bi-centennial year we're also excited to be including a pair of cut-throat razors from Napoleon Bonaparte’s exile on St Helena. A claret leather cased pair of cut-throat razors, with a tortoiseshell grip that has a metal tip and vacant heraldic shield cartouche, label to reverse ‘Napoleon’s Razors Lt B Jackson’ Razor blades 13.5cm length. This piece - lot no. 262 - would make a fine addition to any Waterloo or Bonaparte collection.

The sale will be followed as usual by the General sale, in which there are some very fine pieces of furniture and a couple of stunning Dutch brass two tier chandeliers.
This week was a double sale week, Rugs followed by Historical Documents and Ephemera. The star lots were in the Rug sale, with three quality pieces (lots 12, 32 and 33) each achieving over £1,000. And there were lots of great bargains on offer as well, which our regular customers are become more aware of!
Coming up we will start our July sales with 20th Century and Contemporary Art and Design on the 7th, Designer Handbags and Fashion on the 14th, Stamps, Coins and Banknotes on the 21st and Jewellery and Watches on the 28th.

We accept consignments up to 3 weeks before each Specialist sale,
and every week for our General sales.
