A collection of comic and cartoon adverts and illustrations for charity programmes and Christmas cards designed by Charles Thomas, with 2 small original pen and ink WWI political cartoons mounted onto thick paper ('Bolshevism' and 'Vriends Acain?'), and a group of letters from other artists, local rich supporters of the Arts, and Church friends, including: Hewlett Johnson Dean of Canterbury (typed note reading "No harm has been done. You ask me about the Protestant Bp in Hungary. It will be the same as in the case of Mindzenty. Not religious but political", one page, postmarked 25 May 1951), Lord Bath of Longleat (autograph note saying "I remember with great pleasure the hospitality of the British Savages", one page, 22 March 1924), Frederick Weatherley (autograph letter thanking Thomas "for all you did to make last visit so pleasant to me and especially for the picture which I take and value as your gift", one page, 15 January 1925), Mary Duchess of Beaufort (three autograph letters, including one asking him "if there is any chance of you being able to assist at the opening of our Wings for Victory campaign by acting as auctioneer at our sale", two pages, 1 June 1943).
