Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, the vertical composition portraying the Hindu God Krishna in his Shrinathji form standing in a temple niche against a white dotted ground, richly adorned with floral garlands, several strands of pearls with caparisoned gilt medallions, and a large pearl nose ring, holding a silver cup in one hand and pointing at the sky with the other, wearing an elaborate turban embellished with a large gilt peacock feather at the top and bejewelled turban ornaments to the sides, next to him a smaller female icon counterpart, the composition set within silver and black rules, and green borders, 30.6cm x 23cm.
