Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper, comprising a banquet scene in a palatial setting, and two further indoor scenes depicting an ill man in bed, surrounded by his attendants and assisted by a physician, all three vertical compositions mounted onto later album page borders with orange, blue and gold rules, and buff outer frames, each approx. 29cm x 20.2cm; and four Safavid-revival standing portraits of courtly youths and an elder man, the youths bearing cups and ewers in their hands, possibly saqi (cup bearers) or young courtiers attending a banquet, each portrait mounted onto later album borders with blue, white and gold rules, and polychrome outer frames, each approx. 29cm x 20cm.
