Three early 20th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver cream jugs, Lucknow circa 1910
Raj period. One of baluster form upon a collet foot with a cobra handle, the body with chased decoration in jungle pattern, all below a tessellated fish border. Another Lucknow example of barrel form with a serpent handle, chased decoration in the Cutch style with foliate scrolls and rosettes. Another Lucknow example of barrel form with a C scroll handle, chased decoration in Kashmir style rosette pattern. Together with another cream jug, Bombay circa 1920, of barrel form with a chased elephant head spout, embossed decoration in Swami pattern, with various deities in circular cartouches. (3)
