A George III sterling silver teapot stand, London 1790 by James Young (first reg. 21^st July 1760)

Of oval form with a moulded rim and cavetto edge, the plain field centred by a later engraved quartered coat of arms within a shield. Raised on four reeded bracket feet. Fully marked to the reverse.

The arms are for Westcombe impaling another, quartering Croxton or Churchill, quartering Taylor of Westminster impaling Westcombe, quartering Burton.
