Notes:

Javier Marin, born in Michoacán, Mexio, is known for his expressive depictions of the human form. Working predominantly in the medium of clay and bronze, Marin captures the dynamic integral human being. The artist has exhibited works across the world, including South America, Asia, Europe, Mexico, the United States and Canada. Notable exhibitions have taken place at the Place du Louvre, Paris (2018), The San Diego Museum of Art in California (2018) and the MUDEC Museo delle Culture in Milan (2018). He has also received many awards throughout his career, including a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau (2009) awarded by the Queen of the Netherlands following his travelling exhibition De 3 en 3, which toured through seven European cities.
