An early 19th century Indian Colonial silver teapot stand, Calcutta 1821-23 by Twentyman, Beck and Co (active 1821-23)
Of circular form with a cavetto edge and a gadrooned rim, raised upon three paw feet. The field engraved to the centre with a crest of a stag trippant erminos. Marked to the reverse TB&Co, lion rampant, a lion passant, and a circular tally mark.

Partnership formed between William Henry Twentyman and Weldon Wheatley Beck on the 1st January 1821 and dissolved 31st December 1823.
