An Indian unmarked silver cosmetic or spice box (chaughara or masaladan)

Of shaped lobed circular form raised upon five feet with birds, the centrally screw thread fitted fluted knop with five hinged heart shaped domed lids opening outwards, surmounted by peacocks. Chased hatched borders all over.

Length – 13 cm / 5.1 inches

Weight – 475 grams / 15.27 ozt
