A HUNTLEY & PALMERS TIN PLATE 'THE ELVES' PENNY IN THE SLOT MACHINE, CIRCA. 1923, with an upper tower-proportioned biscuit holder and coin receiver, a metal drawer at the base of the tower can be pulled open towards the user, using its ring-pull, dispensing a biscuit, the lower part a money box, the lithography depicts a winter scene with the towers of a Huntley & Palmers factory, with mischevious elves rolling pennies along a path towards the coin slot at the rear of the tin, 23cm high x 10cm wide x 12.5cm deep
