A FINE PART SILK NAIN CARPET, CENTRAL PERSIA

Approx: 272cm. x 176cm. Unusual and very nicely drawn design, bold appearance. Colours are very well balanced. This carpet has full pile soft and lustrous wool quality together with part silk on field and borders design. Fine weave, approx; 7 x 7 knots per sq. cm. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. In general, this carpet is in very good condition throughout. Very attractive and elegant piece.
