Opaque pigments heightened with gold on paper and cardboard, a miscellaneous group of 20th-century export market production portraits of different prominent figures in the Islamic and Indian lands, from an Ottoman Sultan to a Qajar youth in a palatial interior, from a painting with the Hindu poet Keshav Das to full portraits of Indian rulers like Sri Ragunath Singh Bahadur of Pratapgarh (r. 1890 - 1929), the largest 37.5cm x 29.2cm.
