Calcutta circa 1820 by William Henry Twentyman (active alone 1815-1821)
An early 19th century Indian colonial silver egg cruet

Six egg cups with reeded rims, held within a cirulcar revolving frame upon a pedestal stand, a central loop carrying handle. The circular frame with apertures for egg spoons, reeded edge. Marked to the foot edge WHT, a crescent and star, a fouled anchor, and a tally mark.

Height – 30.8 cm / 12 inches
