A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT AND ENAMELLED GLASS MOSQUE LAMPS IN THE MANNER OF BROCARD, in the Islamic/Persian or Mamluk Revival style after the manner of Phillppe-Joseph Brocard (French 1831-1896), of compressed globular form on a spreading conical foot, with a flared neck and six applied loop handles, the clear glass decorated with blue, cream, yellow, pink, red and green enamel and gilding, featuring a broad pseudo-calligraphic frieze around the body and on neck with scrolling foliate stems, floral roundels and arabesque patterns, each 34.5cm high
