A late 19th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver teapot, Kashmir circa 1890
Raj period. of compressed lobed circular form upon a collet foot, the curved spout opposite a chased C scroll handled formed as a serpent, leading to a disc lid surmounted by a chased lobed finial. The body with chased decoration of alternating panels of rosette pattern, poppy pattern, and coriander pattern. The lid with a gilt interior.
