AN ANTIQUE SOUMAC KELLEH, SOUTH CAUSACUS

The blue field with overal diagonal rows of hooked open palmettes. In sandy-yellow bordder of linked serrated lozenges and triangles between nrosette, barber-pole and arrowhead stripes, appprox: 276cm. x 140cm. Good type, with very nicely drawn design and unusual size. This rug has old repailing on the field and borders, very well done. Both ends with original kilim and fringes, slightly fraying. Selvages rebound also well done.Slight wear anbd corroded charcoal brown, which reflect in an estimate. In general this piece is in decent usable conditon. attractive and popular type at present market.
