The shaded light beige field with overall design of large polychrome serrated palmettes together with meandering floral and leafy vine. In soft red border of similar design between angular floral vine and plain stripes, approx: 12ft.1in. x 8ft.9in.(368cm. x 266cm.). Very good overall design, bold appearance. This carpet has good pile, soft wool quality. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages original. The pile has slight shading in places when one looks at the carpet from one end. Colour from the other end looks even. In general this carpet is in very good usable conditon. Popular type at present market.
