A VERY FINE PART SILK NAIN RUG, CENTRAL PERSIA

Approx: 199cm. x 122cm. Classic for this type with well drawn floral design and very good soft pastel colours. This rug has full pile, soft and lustrous wool quality togehter with part silk on field and border design. Selvages original. Ends with original kilim and fringes. Very fine weave, approx: 8 x 7 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in very good condition throughout. Elegant piece.
