A mid- 19^th century Indian colonial silver curry pan, Calcutta circa 1850 by Lattey Brothers and Co (active 1843-55)

of cylindrical form upon three hemi-spherical feet. Each side with a single detachable reeded edge turned horn handles, and a detachable turned horn baluster side handle, each with rectangular slotting junctions. The pull off double domed lid with a cast acanthus rim, all surmounted by a detachable cast flower finial with leafy calyx. Marked underneath with LB&Co, lion passant, B, and G. The lid and finial unmarked.
