A Japanese cloisonné enamel vase by Hayashi Tanigoro (active c. 1895-1935)

The finely enamalled vase, with a silver rim and silver base, decorated to the exterior depicting two wagtails standing besides a budding pine branches, the rim with a plum blossom band and the foot with a bamboo border representing shochikubai (Three friends of Winter), the base bearing a seal mark of Hayashi Tani[goro]
