The beaker of tapering cylindrical form, each with engine turned decoration topped with translucent green enamel. Each fully marked underneath, the beaker with numerals 4168B and the saucer 3403/100. (2)

Beaker height – 5.6 cm / 2.25 inches

Stand diameter – 10.1 cm / 4 inches

Weight – 196 grams / 6.3 ozt

With a typed note reading:

“Silver & Enamel green beaker/saucer

Given to vendor (blank space) by King Olav of Norway, who is still alive, as a personal gift. As both are still alive it would be embarrassing to give written authenticity to such a gift, on sale, but the presentation was in May 1966.
