A late 19^th / early 20^th Anglo – Indian silver plated twin handled tray, Madras circa 1900 by Peter Orr and Sons

Of oval form with a cavetto edge and beaded, raised upon ball and claw feet with acanthus moulding. The twin beaded handles with scroll mouldings. The field with engraved decoration of various Haveli (Indian town house) with cypress and palm trees, centred with a vacant oval cartouche. Marked to the reverse of the handle P ORR & SONS, MADRAS.
