TWO RED WARE FRAGMENTARY VESSELS Circa 2nd - 3rd Century A.D. Including a fragmentary red ware shallow dish, 18.3cm diameter; and a fragmentary red-gloss ware chalice, with a stem surrounded by a raised band in the centre, the cup decorated with deep-cut ridges, 11cm high, (2) Provenance: Ex collection of Professor Robert McElderry (1869 – 1949) acquired in Greece in the 1930s; Private UK collection acquired from the above.
