An early 20th century Chinese export silver tea caddy, Canton and Shanghai circa 1920, marked Yi An, retailed by Luen Wo
Republic period. Of compressed circular form upon three feet modelled as fresh bamboo shoots, a pull off cylindrical everted lid. The body with cast and applied decoration of flowering prunus populated with birds, repeated to the lid. Marked underneath with artisan mark 怡安 (YI AN), and retailer’s mark LUENWO.

Weight – 263 grams / 8.46 ozt
