The field with overall lozenge lattice containing multicoloured hooked panels. In striped panneled border with checkered lozenges between, lattice, linked lozenge and barber-pole stripes, approx: 5ft.7in. x 5ft.7in.(170cm. x 170cm.) Good type seldom found in the sales. Well drawn design and good colour combination. This flat weave large rug has scattered corroded black and touches of wear. Woven in two halves sawn together. Selvages and ends original and partly tucked under. In general this rug is in fair usable condition despite imperfections.
