The larger of the two-headed ceremonial drums painted red, each with silk attachments, the white metal drumsticks with wood handles and shaft emerging from a mouth of dragon and terminating in a lobed tip incised with further beasts, 52cm long. (4)
Provenance: the larger drum purchased at Christie's, Paris, Chinese sale, June 2010.
