A CHINESE WHITE JADE 'BOYS' VASE.
Formed as a large archaistic gu vase decorated with taotie masks and stylised lappets, with two small boys around the foot, one carrying a lotus bouquet, the other an incense burner from which swirling smoke emerges, a small bat flying above, the stone with minor russet inclusions, 14cm H.
