A group of 19 albumen prints and copy prints, image sizes 20.3 x 15.3cm (smallest) to 29.4 x 23.5cm (largest), pasted down to card, overall measuring 35.5 x 25.4cm to 45.5 x 35.5cm, most captioned in ink lower margin. Subjects include views of the Pyramids of Giza, sculptures of Prince Ra-hotep and Dame Nofret; the Ptah-mai Family Group; bronze statues of ancient gods; and reliefs depicting Cleopatra and her son Caesarion offering to Horus and Isis, among others. Particularly interesting is a pair of albumen prints joined in a panorama, by Pascal Sébah, depicting a tablet with the names of 76 Kings of Egypt, from the Temple of Abydos, captioned and numbered 45-76 in unknown handwriting in ink lower and upper margins. Including a group of seven 7 copy prints depicting the mummified bodies of Pharaoh Ramesses II; Ramesses III; Seqenenre Tao; Pinotem I, High Priest of the 21st Dynasty; Princess Nesi-Khonsu; and Prince Djet; most of them found in 1881 in the Deir el-Bahri cache, discovered by Emil Brugsch and Ahmed Kamal, uncovering over 50 mummies of New Kingdom pharaohs and queens.
