A late 19th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver twin handled sugar bowl, Cutch circa 1880
Raj period, of bombe form with an everted wavy rim all raised upon four scroll pad feet with grotesque masks. Wrought acanthus capped C scroll handles. The body with embossed foliate scrolls populated with animals such as a tiger attacking an antelope to one side and a boar being pursued by a male hunter with a spear and a gun, a hare or a dog to the area by each handle.
