A PAIR OF WESTERN ASIATIC GOLD ON BRONZE EARRINGS Circa early 2nd Millennium B.C. Of penannular form, with a round cross-section, formed of a bronze core covered in hammered gold, at each end a raised collar precedes the flanged terminal, 1.7cm diameter, (2) Provenance: Sotheby's, New York, 1970s; Bonham's, London, Antiquities, 8 May 2013, lot 240.
