A LATE 19TH CENTURY CARVED OAK WESTMINSTER CHIME MUSICAL BRACKET CLOCK, by John Hall & Co, Manchester, the arched and engraved brass face with three silvered subsidiary dials for chime/silent, slow/fast and Whittington/Westminster, over a silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, the caddy top with carved foliate decoration centered with a Green Man, over lion masks and foliate spandrels above beaded moulding and an arched door flanked with classical masks descending into acanthus leaves, with pierced, arched panels to the sides, on a breakfront plinth base with elaborate scrolling foliate carving
