An early 20^th century Chinese export silver flower basket, Shanghai circa 1930, marked Yong, retailed by Yat Sun

Republic period. Of everted oval form upon a domed circular foot, the shaped overhead handle with pierced and chased panels of peonies. The upper section of the body with pierced and flat chased peonies. Marked underneath with artisan mark 永 (YONG), and retailer’s mark YATSUN, and SHANGHAI.
