An early 20th century Chinese export silver cigarette box, Shanghai circa 1930, marked Long, retailed by Tuck Chang
Republic period. Of rectangular form with a hinged lid, the exterior with spot hammered decoration edged with embossed borders of scrolls and rosettes, the lid centred with a vacant oval cartouche. Stained wooden interior. Marked underneath with artisan mark 龍 (LONG), and retailer’s mark TUCKCHANG.
